Blending in

 As they dashed off, a glimmer of strips could be seen in the misty horses. All of them running in the field. All bunched up together in one area. It starts to rain heavily. The clouds cover the sun. A rainbow appears in the sky we look above of. The clouds turn misty grey and it goes dark. The rainbow fades away in seconds. It goes into a fade dark you can see the strips from the Zebra. The wind starts to come and go it gets colder as they are walking.

Giant Clouds

 Giant Clouds in the misty sky there are heaps of massive Clouds in the sky. Every morning I lay in the grass meadow. And watch the Clouds float around. The Clouds are as misty as a sheep fur. My goal is to touch them one day. I want to be able to fly so I can feel them. The grass in laying in is a pretty light green. A shape of my body is a shape in the grass now

My Science Inquiry 2021

Brooke and I are learning how the moon controls\ changes the tides and how tides are formed.

We have been gathering answers to our wonderings and then we put them on our google slide. 

My questions were:

• how are tides formed 
• how does the moon affect the tide?
• is there anything else that would be able to affect the tides?
• How can the moon affect the tides?

I am learning:

• The Sun, Moon and Earth affect the tides
• There are different types/kinds of tides
• The movement of tides is caused by a gravitational force called "Tidal force"

I am working with:

At first, I was away but when I came back I asked Brooke if I could work with her and she said yes. We came partners because it's fun to work together and we think we work well when we are with each other. Even though we talk a bit, we get our work done. I didn't do much on the slide because I wasn't here but I did my own research and I am going to work on my own project to present what I learnt but we'll still share a google slide.

I'm proud of:

i'm proud of our slide because we have worked on explaining the things very clearly.

  

I think the most challenging part was:

To find a presentation idea to work on and make.  

LEGO space ship

For inquiry we either had a choice to build space ship or a rocket. We all had to get in a group of 3 my buddy's were Brooke and Lyshia. We each picked a job we wanted to do. I collected the LEGO bricks. Brooke and Lyshia both sorted the LEGO bricks out in color coordinated.And then we decided how we were gonna build it. 

:)  And that's all!

Earth Layers

For Inquiry we had to make Earth Layers. What we had to do was do a google draw doc. And put 4 Circles. (each a different color.) And then we had to write down what layer was what.

The first layer was crust. Did you know New Zealand is the only country that lives on the crust? The Second Layer was mantle. The Third layer was outer core. And the Forth! is the inner core. This Earth layer was really fun to make I had even learnt some new things making it!       

Chocolate Earth

For Inquiry we made a Chocolate Earth. What we had to do is get a stick and a M&M. And then Urmi gave us a marshmallow we had to put the M&M in the Marsh Mellow. And then we had to dip it in chocolate. After we had to stand outside for it to dry. And then we ate it.  

Weighing Packets

For Math we are doing weighing. What we had to do was choose a packet and then we had to write down how much it actually weighed. Then we went out to the sand pit to fill it up to how much we think it weighs. When we filled it up to see how much we think it weighs.Then we had to go inside and put it on the scale. When we were finished with that we had to write it down in our book. And then we had to do it 3 more times with different packets. 

What I noticed is that you don't have to fill it to the top all the time. Sometimes the biggest packet can be the lightest and the smallest can sometimes be heavier.

'Arrakis'' - Ninja Tracks

Shoot! the battle started I need to get in my spot! I need to figure out how I will get home... The portals gone *Yelling and screaming* Its all happening so fast Plus my mum or anyone in my Family knows about this! My mum is just in the lounge watching TV I think.. Okay! I need to stop stressing i'm in the middle of a battle. Stop thinking so fast maybe I don't even know if the Portals coming back?! I'm stressing to much again  I need to calm down. I still have time tho my mum is Probably in bed Right now. Just try not to think of to many things maybe that will help. AH HELP! *Mind* Just breathe.. And you will be fine. *Portal appears* I Have to go back!

Temperature!

For Math we did Stuff about Temperature. We filled up 3 cups to see the Temperature. One had Ice in it another had hot water in it and the last one we did was cold water. It was A Lot of fun the people I worked with were Anika- c  Carmen-L  and  Aria-c. We used a Thermometer for Each cup. :)

Going to Hamilton!

                                                            When I Went to Hamilton 

 for the holidays Me and my Nana Went to Hamilton to see my anti and cousins. I went for 10 nights and 11 days. It was the best and funnest Thing ever. The worst thing that happened there was nothing! I met new people I made new Friends it was Amazing! I stayed at all of my cousins houses for at least 3-2 night's I met some of my cousins that I didn't remember. When I Flew back home there was a famous person on my plane  I wont say there name but it was really fun😀

                And That's when I went to Hamilton!

 

The haunted house...

CHAPTER 1  

 It was a normal day until... There were two friends named Hannah and Lucy. They wanted to go for a calm walk but something weird happens... some weird lady walks out of her house and stairs at them the girls start running but the lady ran after them  when the girls got home Hannah's mum was in huge shock she had seen that creepy old lady chasing them Hannah's mum politely asked why she was chasing them. she said in a deep voice "oh just looking for other kids to play with:)" ."oh" Hannah's mum said. CHAPTER 2 The house... 

It was the next day when Hannah's mum went to work for some reason really early. Hannah called Lucy so she could go to that old lady's house to check it out again. Lucy said"ill come in Ten minutes!" while Hannah waited she watch some TV when Lucy got to her house she was not ready AT ALL Hannah asks" why are you in your Pyjamas?" Lucy says" I didn't have enough time!" As Hannah sighs. CHAPTER 3  Exploring.

 Lucy goes into Hannah's room to get some sorta science lab cit. Hannah freaks out "Where did you find that?!" Well in your room inside of your closet says Lucy "is that okay?"  I'm not sure...

Gymnastics

On Tuesday Nigel and Urmi's Group went to school of gymnastics. We all got put in different groups with a different Teacher.

It was fun easy and a little bit hard on the rope climb but I got there. On the first time on the bar was really easy because I go to gym, and I found all of it pretty easy and fine. But it was fun and a adventure :)

It was a miserable rainy day when a guy named Bob went to the beach. On a rainy day you ask? Well Bob likes wet sand. But when Bob got there there was a gigantic not whale, not killer whale, not clown fish. Its a shark! A huge one, the water must be full of rips if the waves pulled it into shore. The shark was grey and white like the rainy horrible day. Kora 

The swimming day

 Its the Olympics today for the swimmers they had been practising since forever oh! okay better stop talking the race is starting! 3.....2...1 GO! as the racers swim in the clear water they get faster and faster! the audience is cheering like no other.  

               

The Garden

 In the garden the wind blows in the trees. I can hear kids in the pool I hear the crashing waves from the beach. I can smell nature in the air. I smell plants. I can see butterfly,s roaming in the air.

The Three blind Rats

It was a very OD day today because three blind rats were knitting! in a old cabin. Rusty cabin with  a old fire place look with couches as comfy as a bed. old pillows on the ground if you also didn't realise theirs more clothes on the wall as well.also in the front or the table too! so much clothes!! well heaps of clothes for blind rats. The End!
