Blending in

 As they dashed off, a glimmer of strips could be seen in the misty horses. All of them running in the field. All bunched up together in one area. It starts to rain heavily. The clouds cover the sun. A rainbow appears in the sky we look above of. The clouds turn misty grey and it goes dark. The rainbow fades away in seconds. It goes into a fade dark you can see the strips from the Zebra. The wind starts to come and go it gets colder as they are walking.

                                    I am doing Tides for inquiry

Giant Clouds

 Giant Clouds in the misty sky there are heaps of massive Clouds in the sky. Every morning I lay in the grass meadow. And watch the Clouds float around. The Clouds are as misty as a sheep fur. My goal is to touch them one day. I want to be able to fly so I can feel them. The grass in laying in is a pretty light green. A shape of my body is a shape in the grass now

My Science Inquiry 2021

Brooke and I are learning how the moon controls\ changes the tides and how tides are formed.

We have been gathering answers to our wonderings and then we put them on our google slide. 




My questions were:
  • how are tides formed 
  • how does the moon affect the tide?
  • is there anything else that would be able to affect the tides?
  • How can the moon affect the tides?


I am learning:
  • The Sun, Moon and Earth affect the tides
  • There are different types/kinds of tides
  • The movement of tides is caused by a gravitational force called "Tidal force"
I am working with:
At first, I was away but when I came back I asked Brooke if I could work with her and she said yes. We came partners because it's fun to work together and we think we work well when we are with each other. Even though we talk a bit, we get our work done. I didn't do much on the slide because I wasn't here but I did my own research and I am going to work on my own project to present what I learnt but we'll still share a google slide.

I'm proud of:
i'm proud of our slide because we have worked on explaining the things very clearly.

  
I think the most challenging part was:

To find a presentation idea to work on and make.

LEGO space ship


For inquiry we either had a choice to build space ship or a rocket. We all had to get in a group of 3 my buddy's were Brooke and Lyshia. We each picked a job we wanted to do. I collected the LEGO bricks. Brooke and Lyshia both sorted the LEGO bricks out in color coordinated.And then we
decided how we were gonna build it. 

:)  And that's all!

Earth Layers

For Inquiry we had to make Earth Layers. What we had to do was do a google draw doc. And put 4 Circles. (each a different color.) And then we had to write down what layer was what.

The first layer was crust. Did you know New Zealand is the only country that lives on the crust? The Second Layer was mantle. The Third layer was outer core. And the Forth! is the inner core. This Earth layer was really fun to make I had even learnt some new things making it!       

Chocolate Earth

For Inquiry we made a Chocolate Earth. What we had to do is get a stick and a M&M. And then Urmi gave us a marshmallow we had to put the M&M in the Marsh Mellow. And then we had to dip it in chocolate. After we had to stand outside for it to dry. And then we ate it.
